The opening program consists of three parts: “Greetings from the coastal city,” “Where the elite converge” and “Smile of Halong”.
This program combines Song – Dance – Music – performed both on stage and along approximately 1 km of road, with the participation of over 2,700 professional and amateur actors coming from both inside and outside of Vietnam, and also a low level fireworks performance.
With other 8 previous Carnaval Festival have been hold, Carnaval Halong has became a symbolic brand of Quang Ninh. This activity is more meaningful when this year, Vietnam celebrates so many milestones: the 60th Liberation of Mine site, the 40th Independence Day, and 125th birthday of the great President Ho Chi Minh.
